1 Who we are
Tangara (tangara.rumbi.io) is an AI-powered audio and video transcription platform operated by an individual domiciled in Santa Marta, Magdalena, Colombia. We act as the Data Controller for personal data collected through this site, in accordance with Colombian Law 1581 of 2012 and Decree 1377 of 2013. 2 What we collect

- → Transcription history
- → Payment info processed by Mercado Pago (active) or Paddle (coming soon) — we do not store card data
- → Usage data: active plan, minutes used, access date
- → Language and theme preferences
3 How we use your information
- → To process your transcriptions using the Groq Whisper API
- → To manage your account and subscription
- → To send account-related emails
- → To improve platform performance
We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for advertising purposes.
4 Audio files and transcriptions
Audio files are sent to the Groq Whisper API for processing and are not permanently stored after transcription. Transcriptions are saved in your history until you delete them or cancel your account.
5 Cookies
Tangara uses session cookies necessary to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. We do not use advertising tracking cookies.

Each service has its own privacy policy.
7 Security
Tangara operates under HTTPS with active SSL. Configuration file access is protected on the server.

To exercise any of these rights — including access, rectification, erasure, and revocation of consent — send your request to hola@tangara.rumbi.io with the subject Data Rights Request. We respond within 15 business days in accordance with Colombian Law 1581 of 2012.
9 Minors
Tangara is not intended for users under 18 years of age.
10 Changes
We may update this policy occasionally. We will notify you by email if changes are significant.
